Every summer, the small town of Prades and its surrounding historic sites transform into an exceptional stage for the prestigious Pablo Casals Festival.
Founded in 1950 by the famous Catalan cellist in exile, the festival has grown into a world-renowned reference point for chamber music.
Just imagine: listening to the greatest international soloists and rising stars play masterpieces by Bach, Beethoven, or Mozart, all within the mystical setting of Saint-Michel de Cuxa Abbey, or in one of the Conflent region’s beautiful Romanesque churches.
